Hey, there!

Do you get those end-of-the-holidays blues, too? There's so much stress and excitement before the holidays, and then after they're over, you're just supposed to go back to normal!

There's part of me that wants to just curl up for an extra week (or two) with a stack of books and a nice cup of tea.

Fortunately, part of slow living is adding these moments of rest and relaxation to your daily life. It's about eliminating distractions to focus on the things that truly matter to you.

For me, that includes rest and making time for fun! (Two things I'm quite terrible at.)

I have a variety of resources to help you slow down in 2024, with many more on the way.

✨ First, start by learning more about slow living in my Guide to Slow Living. (Fun fact: It started in Italy in the 80s as a reaction to the first McDonald's in Rome!)

📋 Then, grab this printable slow living challenge. There are 30 daily actions you can take to slow down and stay present. Want to have a little more fun next year? Try some of these slow living hobbies!

🌿 If you really want to work on living with the seasons and slowing down this year, join my new Facebook Group, Seasonal Slow Living! It's a free way to connect with other people on a similar journey. You're welcome to ask any questions, share images, and make it your own!

I have some more fun freebies heading your way soon, including a 2024 calendar (check the Resource Library!) and some recipe card templates to preserve your family favorites for good. Until then, I hope you take care and have a wonderful New Year!

Fortunately, we can add a little sunshine to our lives with fresh citrus! I love citrus season and have my counter full of blood oranges, cara caras, lemons, and more. My hope is that these citrus recipes help you feel a little extra joy and happiness regardless of any dreary skies or slushy snow melt you might be facing. Enjoy! Lemon White Chocolate Scones...

Hey, Reader, How do you feel about growing and using herbs? As a kid, I really didn't use many herbs. I knew the basics - basil, mint, and oregano - and we had quite a few in the spice cupboard. But, they were generally used to make sauce for lasagna or spaghetti, not for much else. Early last year, I imagined myself with a spice cupboard full of homegrown herbs, and something about that vision really struck me. So, I brought home a whole bunch of herb starts from the farmers market early in...
